Glenn Mark Richman

A versatile and seasoned bassist, educator and arranger, Glenn has played with many name players like Bobby Hutcherson, Jon Hendricks, Jimmy Heath, Cedar Walton, Slide Hampton, Dave Liebman, John Hicks, Chet Baker, Arthur Prysock, Lewis Nash, Larry Willis, Eddie Marshall, Renee Rosnes, Billy Hart, Micky Roker, Anthony Wilson and Joe Gilman. He was a member of the Bobby Hutcherson Quartet from 2007 until Bobby’s death in 2016. In 2009, he recorded Bobby’s last CD called “Wise One”. He formerly taught at Chabot College and The Brubeck Institute and is presently teaching bass, jazz theory and harmony and jazz ensembles at UC Berkeley, The Jazzschool, The California Jazz Conservatory and privately.
